Identification of silk and rayon by hand feeling method.
1. Silk has a soft and elastic feel. When kneaded gently, silk chirps and cools; while rayon has a rough and hard feel, not wet and cold.
2. Silk luster is soft, bright but not dazzling; rayon luster is similar to metal. 3. If you hold on to the fabric and let it go, silk has less wrinkles than rayon.
4. When water is dropped on the fabric and rubbed by hand, rayon is easy to break, while silk is stronger.
