Egypt - China's textile industry has a new space for overseas layout

Over the past five years, the Chinese textile industry has also accelerated into the global stage of distribution, injecting positive energy into the world textile economy. Xu Yingxin, vice president of the China National Textile and Apparel Council and executive director of the China Textile International Capacity Cooperation Enterprise Alliance, pointed out that up to now, China's textile industry has accounted for more than 80% of the total global textile investment in the “Belt and Road”. Chinese enterprises have set up textile and garment production, trade and product design enterprises overseas to have more than 100 countries and regions. The Chinese textile industry's foreign investment covers almost the entire textile and garment industry chain. The overseas productivity of China's textile industry presents a model of “China Mainland + ASEAN + Africa”.

On March 12, Mohammed Kasem, Chairman of the Foreign Trade Committee of the Egyptian Industry Federation, flew to Shanghai from a distant flight in Egypt for 14 hours. In the International Trade Office of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, China Textile International Capacity Cooperation Enterprise The Alliance and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade's Textile Industry Branch jointly presented the “One Belt, One Road” investment promotion conference to introduce the investment policy and environment of Egypt to the Chinese textile and apparel industry, and promote the Egyptian Mingya Textile City project to Chinese textile enterprises. Since 2006, he has frequently traveled to and from China to travel for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. Since China launched the “Belt and Road Initiative” initiative in 2013, Kasem and the Chinese textile industry have established contacts to promote Chinese textile companies to invest in Egypt.
